CHAIR SHOWER announced the consideration of SENATE BILL NO. 12,                                                                 
"An Act  relating to  temporary courtesy  licenses for military                                                                 
spouses; and relating to the Department of Commerce, Community,                                                                 
and Economic Development."

SENATOR SCOTT KAWASAKI,  speaking as sponsor of  SB 12, thanked                                                                 
the committee and the chair specifically for his support for the                                                                
bill  that is  good  for  the  economy, the  workforce and  the                                                                 
military.                                                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                
CHAIR SHOWER  found no questions or  comments and solicited the
